Negative, Aguirre made bad decisions and that cost us the game.

Mexico is still the better team. One win in 7 years just means you had ONE fortunate win which any team can get.

So Mexico's two wins in seven years, one of which was with Uruguay a man down the entire match, mean so much more for what reason?

Because its mexico silly. mexico is the best team in the world, the Brasil of CONCACAF :D No matter what we do we could never be as good as the all great one
*Note: Detect Sarcasm.* Also Note this is just for the haters not the good mexicans like the majority here.

So, since South American teams don't "bring out all their players and really want to win" in Copa America and is only in the world cup that they do... does it means that Peru never wants to win and will never "bring out all their players," since they have no real shot of qualifying for the WC;)

Uruguayans, lets end the post-game anger. Good job, and good luck vs SK

Frankly, I'm not angry, I don't see most Uruguayan fans as angry, what I see are a couple of Mexican trolls who are trying to make the rest of a pretty good fan base look bitter and angry after a pretty good game and a couple of CONMEBOL snobs (who aren't Uruguayan by the way) rubbing Mexico's nose in the game for no real reason.

The first step to improving is recognizing your weakness. Going from the many Mexican fans posts they seem to blame everything on a variety of things other than your diagnosis. They blame the coach, they blame the other teams bunkering, whatever. If after many games you routinely cannot seal the deal, the problem is with you, period.

Seriously, this time last year Mexico was in danger of not qualifying. Aguirre comes on and turns that around and they have now made it past the first round, but listening to the posters Aguirre is an incompetent fool. The Uruguay team I saw last night was playing defense when they needed and a lot of offense that could have easily scored more than one goal but according to some posters they were lucky to win and a bunch of bunkerers. Most of the fans comments make no sense to this observer. Kind of like all the screaming about the new Brazil team from its fans. Last I heard the win is what counts, there aren't any record books for pretty losers. Well, maybe in women's tennis.....:D

Guardado should of been sent off following his elbow on Perez, the ref's leniency was made evident when he failed to even call a foul. I imagine the match would have been vastly different with Mexico playing a man down for about an hour.

Perez tryied to touch the ball and leave a "recuerdito" on Guardado, crashing against his head when Guardado didn't even moved, just jumped. On the replay you can see that he never touches Guardado's elbow.

    lol

The Copa America results are irrelevant, they were from a couple of years ago.

This game itself was very evenly match. Uruguay are a great defensive squad with two lighting quick forward

Uruguay capitalized on it's chance, while Mexico blew theirs

    Simple as that

It's chance? Uruguay had as many chances, if not more as Mexico. Remember Suarez's one on one in the first couple of minutes? Cavani's shot from outside at the end? Lugano's header that El Conejo saved? Victorino's header just over the post?

You guys had Guardado's awesome shot, the header just wide at the end, and that's pretty much it. That's the beauty of Uruguay's team. While the other team can have posession, it will be very hard for them to get inside the box with control of the ball. It hasn't happened much if at all so far in the World Cup

Uruguay won because they've got some history. Mejico has never won anything and never will.

    History doesn't win games.

Uruguay won because they had a better defence, capitalized on their chances and never lost composture, that's it.
