Yeah, it was a "German" performance from the 90s. I remember several like this from euro 96.

Certainly better and certainly more composed, but not enough to say "much". That's because there were periods where both teams cancelled each other out and also a few instances of spain being shaky at the back.

Maybe you will change your mind on seeing it again or maybe I will. Who knows.

So you can't shed any light on the rules for the headbutting?

You don't have to "make yourself believe" anything. However, you are also great at blocking out what you don't wish to acknowledge. That's something I learned about you quickly.

Might your black, yellow and red tinted glasses be on really tight tonight?

if you're going to judge who I am by what it says on the left, then I'll just call you gandalf and tell you to stick to the silver screen. Is that reasonable?? NO.

So stop judging people by everything you DON'T know. For all you know I might have moved to new zealand 2 years ago.

    Idiot.

Pff, just because I didn't see the game the same way as you?

And I'm not alone in this, many neutrals I have spoken to agree with my view of it.

    Congratulations to Spain.

Thorsten Frings, for most of this tournament, seemed to have forgotten how to make a forward pass. He seemed only a shadow of the player I remember from 2006.....even if he was injured. Very little drive up the middle from Germany and so much square and back passing from the fullbacks and defensive mids.

Klose looked like a zombie throughout the whole tournament. Head dropped down, not showing any passion at all. Odd.

Is there a moderator in this forum? Gandalf the Red ass, did a Turk put to your ass since you are concerned about ass every thread, instead of crying here, go to some body building sth, and take a serious revenge as a man.

To other people who were saying Turkey was lucky, I think at least this match showed sth that no other team had what Turkey had.

Spain scored in 33th min, and there was 60 min to go, how many shots Germany did take?
    2 shots, 1 wide 1 on goal

Russia - Netherland , No shoot after 2-1 (10 min to go)

what about Turkey-Czech, after 75th min (in 15 min), Turkey took 10 shots,
    6 on goal 4 wide.

In Croatia match, just in 1 min, Turkey took 2 shots, 1 wide 1 on goal..

    Germany-Turkey match similar

So please stop crying this luck thing, you cant score if you dont shoot.

Go back and read it. I said something to the effect of :

"IF you are going to call me a plastic fan, I can ask you what an england fan is doing here".

Good comments. I don't agree that Ballack was "poor" though. When Germany doesn't win, why does the finger always get pointed at certain players, Ballack chief among them?

I don't think Germany played badly at any point before the final five to ten minutes when it was clear they'd given up.

I think they were simply beaten by a team who executed better tonight.

Germany was completely outplayed, and never had a chance in this game.

The only time they looked even the least bit threatening was after Kevin Kuranyi came in for Hitzlsperger. I thought they looked like they had a chance to score for about 15 minutes after that substitution, but that was it.

I can't. For me that was Fernando Torres. Not just because of the goal, but he gave the Germany defense hell the entire time he was on the pitch.

After him, then yes, Senna. He kicked both Ballack and Frings' asses in midfield.
