Biggest match of the league (thus far). I'd take a draw. I don't know why pundits think this year it's a 3-horse race b/w us and the 2 Manchester teams. Last I checked, Pool is still a pretty darn good team and they got their back line sorted out.
Yep, the scousers are no slouches, they have the best CB back in their team. This game is all about Virgil Van Dijk vs Romelu Lukaku.
Tough tough game this - queue all the Scouse ladies harping on about 'special atmosphere', 'special sense of humour', 'special city' and other such bollox our Liverpudlian friends like to always go on about (my fellow English posters will know what I mean here)! I definitely think Liverpool are right in the mix when it comes to talk of the title. In fact I think this season is going to be far more competitive at the top and least a four horse race for me.
I seem to remember hearing lots of pundits say no on was hurt more by an empty stadium than Liverpool. Perhaps their supporters are just 'that' special.... Or maybe the players couldn't stand "walking alone."
I see that A Taylor is the ref today, he has already robbed us in 2 cup finals so we have to beat 12 men today not counting the kop supposed extra man. Looking forward to the first real test of the season. Hope to see Kanté playing to get the game back to 12 a side.

Whatever happened to Ben Chillwell? Will we ever risk playing with 2 CBs? Considering we have both Jorghino and Kante? We could surely play with two CBs and add that extra creative player in midfield?
I think I might have preferred Chilwell in this game as I think that we may have to defend more than in the previous games

Last chance to show something before the transfer window closes? Or has he already cemented his place with a spot on the bench?
Yeah, most likely. RLC had the potential. It is hard to say now. Havertz does what RLC promised to do.
Liverpool are playing 4-3-3 Their strength is Virgil and their high press and their weakness is Henderson
You look in the dustbin for something to eat, You find a dead rat and you think it's a treat, In your Liverpool slums, In your Liverpool slums, You shit on the carpet, you piss in the bath, You finger your grandma, and think its a laugh, In your Liverpool slums, In your Liverpool slums . . .
I think RLC will be Jorginho’s understudy if we don’t sign anyone else. He has - when on form - that skill in transition that is key to how we break and make use of the myriad options going forward, along with the physicality required to play in our midfield. Getting his mind right is the big key. He has the footballing attributes to be successful. Speaking of Jorginho, I note that it took 60 whole seconds for a defensive error.
Liverpool, Klopp, Liverpool’s own LGBT fan group, all criticised Liverpool for singing about rent boys. Still doing it though. Good tackle from Jorginho just before Kante gets body checked by Fabinho. Good game so far, very even.
I see RLC as a Havertz type of player tbh. Speaking of Jorghino the best player in . . .he needs to wake up today
