He could have gotten on the stretcher, but he refused and decided to slowly limp off the field.

I recommend you give the Rules of the Game a careful read.

If he was deemed not to be involved in the initial play, then he is NOT offside.

The line between "being involved" and "not being involved" is left at the discretion of the ref.

even with this great performance i still don't think there should be an Oceana confederation in FIFA. it should have to be folded into the Asian confederation. Being able to qualify by playing a handful of games against Vuanatu and other utterly shite teams and then a 2 leg playoff vs some 5th place Asian team is an utter joke.

but i am still happy NZ is putting it to Italy.

I didn't see it, but was the penalty awarded to Italy a legit penalty?

Right now the CBC is wondering how come a little country like New Zealand where soccer is not big is doing so much better than Canada, where we have 30 million people (compared to under 5 million Kiwies) and where we had invested so much in football.

It's been a very emotional game, so far.

How the mighty Italy couldn't defeat a weaker opponent.

    A tragedy for Italy...

    Very contradictory expectations:confused:

There should be a East Asia and West Asia confederations, due to the distances involved.

OFC becoming part of East Asia, with 3 berths.

    West Asia with 2.

    And that's it.
