I don't hate Spain at all. But I still think the better team on the day is winning right now.

I didn't expect Spain to choke so early. Sure, I expected them to choke... but not in their first game, lol

this is why i live for this sport....not bashing on spain but its a thing of beauty when a major underdog in the world cup is just about to beat one of the two prohibitive favorites to win the world cup in the opening match....great stuff this is why i love football more than any other sport:cool:;)

If this holds, it'll be the upset of the World Cup thus far... only a North Korean victory over Brazil would've been bigger.

As long as the clock is secret, it will always be a source of corruption and distrust.

Yes. I've never bought that Spain would win this cup. It was always going to be hard for them to handle being favorites.

You'd think FIFA would consult with the actual players about which ball they're comfortable with. Ridiculous.

I'm still not convinced that the draw was random. Spain and Brazil in the last two groups, CIV in the Group of Death AGAIN.

I wouldn't call Switzerland the best playing team today. They're not really anything special, all they did was clog down the lanes. Plus this is only one match. None of the top billed teams with the exception of Germany have really played up to their reputations.
