It is all about how we can withstand Valverde's versatility whether he is on the wing or in the midfield.

In addition, Uruguay will likely put high pressure near our own final third. Our midfielders must be able to hold the ball and quickly find our wingers or top.

As Sonny's status is still questionable, we must rely on accurate set-piece and aerial strength to keep Uruguay pressure soft.

Any word on Son’s availability? 50-50, 25-75, etc.?

50-50 would be the best answer I can provide to you at this point.
Paulo Bento has prohibited his players, coaches, and KFA staffs to publicly comment about status of any players so we can only speculate with how players are trained and managed during open training session.

Not to forget to mention about Darwin Nunez.
The guy can add more dimension to Uruguay's strong front.
Kim Min-jae must be ready to battle against him.

You guys are wrong. It’s all about if our defense can keep up with your speed. If Godin starts, you will feast on us.

If Alonso actually starts Caceres and Godin he has lost his mind.

There is simply no rational justification for starting Godin over Coates.

Mod: the starting time for the match is 8am in NYC, not 5am.

I think that we are safe from Caceres, but it seems as if Godin will start. I am appalled and I doubt we advance if this happens.

This has potential to be a goal fest.

Both team's best players are going forward and both defenses are not exactly rock solid.

I am looking forward to a good game hopefully. I had predicted a 2:2 draw. Lets see what the actual score will be?

    Mine was 3-2 Uruguay.

I have nailed results of two matches so far. These being Senegal - Netherlands 0-2 and today Switzerland - Cameroon 1-0. But overall many wrong predictions.

How confusing must this get for the coach when he's screaming tactics from the sidelines??

The game should have had a couple of goals, one for each side. Even match statistically, but S. Korea appear both more ambitious and more vulnerable. Still, Hwang should have converted on that chance he blew. No excuses for that miss.

Agreed 100%. It would help Uruguay if Suarez and the backline take off their lead shoes.

    A yellow card at last!

I am all for letting play flow but foul play must be sanctioned.

    They aren't a well-oiled machine.
Diego Alonso came in towards the tale end of the qualifiers.

Uruguay were never supposed to have a deep run at this tournament. They'll have to fight hard to get 2nd in Group H.
