I've agreed to a sober weekend. With my throwing up thrice in the past TWO weekends...or was it four times? I'm detoxing.
wuss! just don't drink as much. I was actually forced to last weekend. I was feeling sick from the heat/beer/liquor and finally stopped, yes I said stopped, at halftime and switched to bottle water.
Section 16 SOLD OUT. This is a good sign. I think there will be a pretty good turn out tomorrow, after last weeks performance, and the buzz from Galaxy. Good on em.
I've been cutting back on days that I drink...but then I end up drinking more on the days that I do... Ugh... I didn't even drink that much after the game STARTED...I think.
Sheesh, I think I need to start posting drunk in this forum. Alright i'll settle for a goal from Ambersley!
I was advised today that I probably need to apologize to the Merchandise table workers tomorrow night. Apparently the Front Office heard about my tirade on them which I thought was funny, but apparently didn't go over as well as I thought. But really, I've been asking for a XXL Authentic since the KC pre-season game. It's amazing that I haven't lost it before then. Lots of Alcohol and an Angry Chicken are not a good combo. Seriously, can't we just completely write off last weekend?
Hey guys! I'm singing the Anthem again this game so make sure you give me lots of cheers! And buy me booze during the game because I can't start drinking until after I sing! -bikini girl (is wearing a shirt till drunk)
Growlers at 5pm. Who's going? Are we doing the same as last week, leaving and joining the Chickenhead Posse Tailgating Bonanza?
Jen has a whole fridge full of Jello Shots. She even made some Non-Alcoholic ones for kiddos and Battra.
I'll be there. I'm willing to leave for the park whenever people feel like. Pub, tailgating, it's all good to me.
also, if anybody needs buy one get one free vouchers, meet me in the parking lot. Bring a friend or two to the game for cheap.
I'll be leaving my house at 5pm, so I'll be a few minutes late. I say stay at Growlers for 1 or 2 then leave for the C.P.T.B.F.P.
Wow, the attendance last night was down. Although I suppose you have to accept that when you schedule a game on July 3rd. Hopefully the one on the 10th is better attended, and hopefully we have some better songs. Also, someone in sec. 20 last night yelled "orange is for **************!" and got told by someone "hey man, there are kids here!"........................what the hell is that about? I'm sorry, but there are literally thousands of other seats available. Don't bring your kid to section 20 if you aren't prepared to let him/her learn some colorful language. Also, why was this guy more concerned about the colorful language than the sulfrous smoke bombs? Speaking of, is there a way we can either do it to the sides or held them up high enough so the view isn't obstructed. There was a scoring chance late in the game and I'm pretty sure that almost nobody in the section would have seen the goal had it happened. One more suggestion---let's just think of a random song that everybody knows the lyrics to and just sing it. Most other clubs do it anyway, and it's a welcome departure from "something something...clapclapclap"
Then again, neither is Swoops. I still liked that idea from when it looked like AC might go under that you all sing "Brother, Can You Spare A Dime?" Although now that the crisis is averted, "We're In The Money" might be a better choice. Either way, years from now newer fans would ask why that song, and you could tell them it was a nod to the history of the club rather than something chosen at random.
Well thanks to all the smokebombs being placed all over the stadium last night they've been banned again, so I wouldn't worry about enjoying them anymore. Now everyone can get back to screaming and cussing all the time and finding new ways to piss off the staff and force Captain Super Security to come over and harass everyone. Good job. Now you're a real hooligan. Just like in that one movie with that Frodo lad!
