St. Louis CITY SC (1-6-3) at Colorado Rapids (4-6-1) Saturday, May 9, 2026, 8:30 PM (CT) Commerce City, Dick's Sporting Goods Park Apple TV Here is the MLS Match Information for our match CITY 1-6-3, 6 Points, 0.60 PPG, 9 GF, 18 GA, Net -9, Form DLLLWDDLLL CITY home 1-2-1, 4 Points, 1.00 PPG, 6 GF, 6 GA, net 0, Form DLWL CITY away 0-4-2, 2 Points, 0.33 PPG, 3 GF, 12 GA, net-9, Form LLDDLL Colorado 4-6-1, 13 Points, 1.18 PPG, 22 GF, 19 GA, net +3, Form LWWLWLWLDLL Colorado home 3-1-0, 9 Points, 2.25 PPG, 14 GF, 6 GA, net +8, Form WWWL Colorado away 1-5-1, 4 Points, 0.67 PPG, 8 GF, 13 GA, net -5, Form LLWLDLL This is the last of CITY's 5-of-6 on the road, but the start of CITY's 5 matches in three time zones in 2 weeks leading to the badly needed World Cup break. Colorado is a starkly different team at home than away. Colorado holds the 9th playoff spot in the Western Conference while playing 7 of its 11 matches on the road and facing six straight playoff bracket teams coming into this match. At home, Colorado averages 2.25 PPG on 3.50 GPG and the 5,164’ of elevation takes the legs out from beneath opponents. Their roster includes 10 different goal scorers and 3 players with 4 assists. TL;DR. Colorado is a much better team at home than CITY is on the road, and it would be delulu to expect a result. Discuss.
Everyone is a better home team than we are away. Hell most are better away than we are at home. It's delulu to expect us to get a result in any game. We will just trot out the same lineup that loses every week, and then say well we lost because they're tired. I'm tired...tired of the excuses.

Early weather forecast. A LOT better than this past weekend and the first part of the week! It looks like more typical Spring-ish weather for the Front Range. Partly cloudy, likely in the 50s through the match, a little bit humid, and a nippy breeze from the NNW with a chance of showers. In other words, jacket or layered weather but not full Shackleton Expedition gear.
For those heading to the game: Yes, Colorado had snow. No, it isn't TEOTWAWKI because of snowmageddonapocalypse. It's just a Spring snow. Metro Denver has plows and knows how to use them. It won't be necessary to rent a dogsled and worry about reenacting the Donner Party. All is good. For people driving from Missouri to Colorado, that awful buffer state between us has road construction. Everywhere. Their orange cones are back and are multiplying rapidly. KC to Topeka is a nightmare. My sympathies. There's nothing any of us can do about that state. For people flying to DIA, it's easy to get to the stadium. Piece of cake. It WILL be chilly at the game. Don't get surprised by thinking it's in the 50s at kickoff and it will stay that way. There will be a chilly steady breeze from the NW, and it will feel much colder by match end. It will be more humid than usual and may have some raindrops during the match. If you are cold natured, bring a hat and some gloves. Wear layers. Stay warm. It won't be the deep freeze, just a chilly possibly damp breezy night.

I said it last week, dump both Cordova and Teuchert and use those roster spots. My fear is for all the talk of alignment between Damet and Wray, roster choices have indicated the opposite.
It sounds like Cordova got sick and that's why he isn't rostered. There may not have been time to fill his bench spot.
I wish there was a dislike button (not of you, but that he might still be in the long term plans) I’m sick of him.
Becher is so bad!! I don't want Cordova, but start McSorely, start Joyner, start Lowen, hell start Ault.
And here we are yet again, the game is stretching and we aren't subbing. F*cking Damet is gonna lose it for us.
Hartel may have sustained an injury to his foot or leg when he got kicked or stepped on. He was still hobbling after the match. The stats are wild. Colorado beat us on corners 11-1. Fouls were 19 for Colorado, 17 for us.
You could see we weren't used to playing with a lead and seeing a game out...we had no clue what we were doing!
