Did I miss something. You can now score a goal with your arm? That’s the only way I know for your arm to be offsides.

No one wants to talk to the ref at 120’ of the World Cup final. The time and opportunity for any management is over.

Part of his head was also offside.

Argentina being sore losers and not showing the aftermath at the full time whistle.

    The same concepts apply.
Maybe it would have been deemed wrong today, but he's still sent off. :)

Not sure. I've seen clips from the 1980s. No bone though the skin = no red.

    Messi shaking everyone's hand.

    Otamendi behaving.

Scaloni being humble after the game. (Sarcasm)

Did anyone really expect this group to be classy if they lost?

Two very questionable calls but it went both ways. You'd hope the ref wasn't trying to compensate one with the other but, woof!

Just shown some of it on the BBC. Hand around the neck. Throwing another player to the ground.

the video I saw only had his arm off. If his head was then good call.

It was maybe 15% of his head. Plus his shoulder so the correct call. Looked level to the naked eye but something so close always will.

That 2 game suspended ban when Argentina automatically qualifies for 2030 is gonna be devastating.

I'm talking about me, not other people.
It is very easy for keyboard and TV referees when they have never been anywhere near a professional or international game.
Still, reading many of the comments on this board is very entertaining!
    Thank you, until 2030!

I thought he had waited for the ball to leave the area before blowing the whistle.

You'd hope it'd be longer for violent conduct, but you're probably right.

Why can't FOX get this shot now? We only saw isolated closeup of 3 Argentine players and knew they would be pulling some crap after the final whistle.

It was listed on then BBC sport website as a sending off, but it's been deleted since. Maybe wishful thinking ...

From what I saw, it should have been a red.
