Ok, Yano is it. Hasebe is in the middle. No, this is over, now Cameroon cannot find a hole.
Le Guen is stupid. Fielding THREE defensive midfielders, none of which has playmaking abilities, against Japan.
And I thought Domenech was an idiot. Well, he still is.
Man up, Unak: in 2050 you'll be watching Burkina Faso vs. Korea United play each other to a dull stalemate, and as your grand children start to complain, you'll be able to say, "you think this is crappy, why, you should've seen Japan vs. Cameroon back in 2010!!! That was a yawnfest!"
I like how hole japan is pressing. This is the best could hapen to Japan. They always had too much troubles making goals except with Honda. Honda made it in one of 2 or 3 options they had and now they are defending well.
Do you see Souleymanou? Man, is he pissed!
WTF? Suddenly this referee wants to allow bumps like that?
I agree...LeGuen is an idiot...what was he thinking with this line up?
What a shot!!
And the post said "screw you, Cameroon".
This is over, folks.
poste poste poste.. it hit the post..almost the equlaizer..and
If Eto'o decides to walk off the field and quit the team right now noone in Africa will blame him.
Of all the games one wouldn't expect to be a bore in the first round, this was way up there for me.
This is officially a trend.
What gives? Is hyper-conservative play really that much more effective?
Actually, I think this is not such a bad game. Basically, Okada has outcoached Le Guen by winning the midfield battle (if there was any).
And when he made a mistake (Okazaki in for Mitsuo was a mistake), Le Guen wasn't so stupid not to see it, and made the right move (Emana-Idrissou on the right).
Immediately, Okada corrected bringing in Yano who could help cover that hole while still attacking on the side.
I've enjoyed it.
I wanted to see Inamoto. He got goal in WCs. Experience will help him for Japan
85' 1-0 #19 Stéphane M'Bia blasts ferociously from 23m top arc right, across his body to the left post -- off the crossbar so hard it rebounds out to 15m left post, and Japan clears.
Same here. I didn't expect either of these teams to be "sophisticated" enough to pull off a tactical stalemate.
Trouble is, they aren't, but they still pretty much stale-mated each other anyway.
Still not my worst match of the tournament, yet.
It took 9 matches for the 1st decent long range shot. Stupidly designed Jabulani.
Hasebe > Inamoto. He's been instrumental in the midfield domination. Contender for my MOTM.
I'm turning off the television. I will erase my DVR and throw it out the window and then shoot my tv set. Then I will gouge my eyes and fling myself from the window.
Talk about a finish to a match!
jesus christ what a (*#)(*$)(*% save.
damn referee is calling all stupid inexisting fouls. Helps alot to ruin the game!
