They did this last year, too. Put high profile matches on peacock to increase membership. I mean, I cant fault them for trying to maximize their content. I do wish all of the NBCSN matches were also on Peacock, though.

Is this our best available lineup? I think I’d rather have James or Chillwell than Alonso (tho that was a nice early cross) and Havertz for Jorghino (no matter how many trophies he’s won). When everyone is healthy, we’re definitely going to have more than IX starting-quality men.
Think there's a nearly 100m pound gap in your assessment there Jim Overall, to your point, we will have more than enough depth that I expect our best 11 will vary by opposition and tuchel should be able to pick that side accordingly.
Bright enough start. It’s certainly an interesting line up but Alonso’s done well in pre-season, as has Chalobah. They deserve to play and Chilwell/James/Silva deserve to extend their rest after an unusual 18 months. For those without access to a TV broadcast, I’ve heard of some website called total sport (and then put ek on the end) - apparently riddled with pop ups and such but a stable video. Could even airplay/cast it to your big screen TV, if that’s your thing. So I hear.
Alonso has just scored a stunner! I’m so happy for him after all the unfair criticism he gets over the years.
Being a wing back rather than a left back suits his game so much better at this stage of his career. Same goes for dave on the other side. Will be interesting to see if palace decide to venture past the halfway line now they need a goal.
Criticism of Alonso at times has been entirely justified. Too often he’s lazy, as a full back his defending is poor. However, right now, his attitude is great, he’s clearly happy, and he’s had a great pre-season. Deserves to play. Excellent free kick - big space to aim at and he got good pace on it. Mad how much difference LB->LWB can make.
The announcers have called us champions of Europe/European champions approximately 57 times already. I think I will be fine with that this year.
