MOD EDIT: Merged "How Bad Is New England" thread with the pre-match/poll thread. -hardhead So bad that it's Thursday night and we haven't even bothered to start a pre-game thread and poll for Saturday's game. And, no, I'm not going to try putting the poll together...
Arrieta. Higuaín. O'Rourke. Marshall. Other supporting roles. I like the future of the team. Let's turn Wednesday's game into the start of positive momentum.
I was just going to default everyone to win by 2 or more..... I'll set up the pre match grouchy in a few hours.
I deeply and truly feel sorry for Monty and my other NE friends that have to watch this team week in and week out.
I would create but people would probably be confused on a poll letting me know how great I am 1) Very 2) Very, Very 3) Very, Very, Very 4) Very, Very, Very, Very 5) I wish to bare your children.
I love this sense that we are suddenly better than the lowly teams of MLS after 1.5 games of Higuain. What 4 goals in 2 games can do for the fan base.
To be fair, I thought we were much better than NE before. Now we are just a whooooole lot better. Their last 7 games NE has lost 5 and Drawn 2. They're bad, dude.
That last line is *very* creepy (and yes, I'm sure it was an unintentional spelling error--but still).
NE has some decent pieces. Sene has been a pleasant surprise. And after our last 20 minutes against TFC, I can't comprehend how we think we are that much better than anybody, especially with our 4th match in what, 11 days coming up. Going to have to be some rotation among the 7 players who have started (and played all but 15 minutes of the previous 3 matches): Williams, Marshall, Mendes, Miranda, Birchall, Gaven, Arrieta. If it was me: ---------------Andy G---------------- James---Marshall--O'Rourke--Williams ---------------Tchani----------------- Duka--------Mirosevic------Speas ---------------Higuain---------------- ---------------Renteria---------------- Bench: Lampson; Vukovic (rest), Mendes; Birchall (rest); Meram, Findlay, Arrieta (rest) But I think Robert will continue to run guys into the ground: Hammer; Miranda, Marshall, Mendes, Williams; O'Rourke, Mirosevic; Duka, Renteria; Higuain, Arrieta.
should it be bear? i did not google reminds me of a joke. Bear walks into a bar barman: what can I get you bear: er, bud, jd and coke and err... bear: vodka and tonic barman: sure, no problem, but why the large pause (paws--geddit?)
Yes. "bare" means to remove clothing from or strip off something(one) else--thus it read a little creepy. Spelin iz Importnt! But I'm an editor IRL. Re. Jokes An elephant walks into a bar. Ouch! A baby seal walks into a club.
They aren't that bad. They are on a bad run of form right now, but there's no reason why they can't win. A team that has yet to score three goals in a single game doesn't have much margin for error.
New England has some good attacking players, but their defense is atrocious. We should score at least 2 more tomorrow.
Looks good. I think RW will do some mix and match. If Vuko is available, I think he will play. ---------------Andy G---------------- Miranda---Marshall--James--Vuko ---------------Tchani----------------- Meram------Mirosevic------Duka ---------------Higuain---------------- ---------------Renteria---------------- Bench: Lampson; O'Rourke, Mendes; Gehrig; Speas, Findlay, Arrieta (rest),
Oh, we're doing these now? A duck walks into a drug store and waddles up and down the aisles for twenty minutes. Finally he goes up to the register and puts some chapstick on the counter. "Will that be all," askes the clerk, a bit taken aback. "Yup," says the duck. "Will that be cash, or charge?" "Just put it on my bill." Now if someone will get me drunk, I'll tell the classic ant and elephant joke. It loses something in translation from the original Latin, but remains one of the funniest jokes of the modern age.
Ironically enough, the last time two times we scored more than 2 goals in a match, were against NE. 3-0 on 10/15/11@ NE 3-1 on 8/13/11 v NE 4-1 on 6/18/11 v COL
Jays heaps looks for another elbow to the face in this latest visit to CCS. Weather: Outside Forecast: check the weather channel 2 days rest, lets see how the fellas come out against a listless Revolution! Mods - feel free to merge this with the 'NE is bad' thread.

Mirosovic is listed as questionable. He was not on the injury report for Wednesday's game - did his ankle get re-injured? Perhaps it swelled up again? I thought he played well on Wednesday, and should be fresh compared to other attacking central midfield options.
