Who'd be a manager? They're always between a rock and a hard place. I understand what you mean, but tactical match or not, both sets of players are good enough to be included in the team/squad and therefore should be up for it, as for any match, but more so for derby's.
A player can be up for it all they want but if the team is fundamentally flawed or they are used in a system that does not suit them then they will struggle regardless. What happens with Giggs will be the most interesting and could be what decides the match.
If you come from Manchester, your sure to be a blue Moston Collyhurst Salford Ancoats too and if you really think this then your nothing but a fool because in the town of Manchester Man United rule Tra la la la la We all hate city Tra la la la la You can stick your Bayern Munich Juventus, Ajax too There's only one collosal club they play in laser blue. They're gonna beat United like once upon a time and they're gonna conqeur Europe like they did in '69 Tra la la la la We all hate city Tra la la la la Super Kevin Keegan, he said I will love it When we beat Utd, we know he's talking shit He walked out on Newcastle He walked on England too He went to Man City, he's a dirty ********ing blue Tra la la la la We all hate city Tra la la la la 2007, was meant to be their year They're on the way to Wemberley, with Phsyco Stuart Pearce But they got beat at Blackburn It's another year of hurt And all the City fans sang you're not fit to wear the shirt Tra la la la la We all hate city Tra la la la la Sven Goran Ericksson, and Shinawatra too They're off to conquer Europe, In city's laser blue Utd were once bigger, But not anymore Cos City are so massive, they're the pride of Singapore Tra la la la la We all hate city Tra la la la la Shinawatra's millions, will buy a cup or two Well that is the logic, if you're a bitter blue But it will all go tits up And we'll dance a jig of joy And we'll all laugh at city cos their owner's a ladyboy Tra la la la la We all hate city Tra la la la la
i remember that game... what a mess. glad we stuck with Patrice though and glad that he came out of that game a better player.
I think it's poking fun at the fact that Thailand is the land of the ladyboys and the owner was from Thailand :S
The use of the present term ... "And we'll all laugh at city cos their owner's a ladyboy" We've seen a change of ownership, Tra la la la la
well, we can't poke fun at the current owners because well.... we care for our lives (no racist)(most of my friends are arabs)(yes scared)
I'm out! Going to bed then heading to the pub for all of the games. Hopefully everyone will be in a good mood on my return.
What Teso said. This isn't just hypothetical, we've seen it on dozens of occasions and it's cost us many points in the process. My gut is feeling extra cynical and sensing just what I fear, a bad starting formation with another wrong tactical outlook.
Definitely the most pumped for a game this season since the Liverpool game; hopefully Fergie does not end up starting Neville and Giggs again and lining up a 4-4-2. We will see; our players need to be up for a derby for a change.
Hart Richards Dunne Kompany Garrido Hamann Ireland Wright-Phillips Vassell Robinho Benjani _________ VDS Rafael Rio Vidic Evra Ronaldo Carrick Fletcher Park Rooney Berbatov
Shocked that Rafael is being played. This is probably the toughest away game he has started. For the sake of the sanity of many posters I hope he plays well. Can't really see too many complaints about the starting line-up in general. If this team can't win then we might as well forget about the league.
Aside from Rafael, that was always going to be the lineup. Ferguson was always going to play Park because he figured Park would track Wright Phillips, etc etc. Not too many complaints here.
Brown is injured; Neville will have a shocker if played, OShea has been criticized every time he has been played this season. Atleast Rafael will provide an offensive threat though I would guess that we would concede atleast 1 goal from his flank. Best team we could put out under the circumstances as you said.
Why do you say that? Besides, Rooney started ahead of Tevez against West Brom, you think he's going to be dropped for the derby?
