i'd say dempsey is NOT a longshot...right now, he's an alternate on my list... and rolfe as darkhorse, might be true, but he's in the fighting chance mix for me
In the wild world of depth charts and 23-man rosters, I think we need a separate category for "would go in event of key injury." With Gibbs, Johnson, Reyna, and O'Brien all at least yet-to-be-proven-ready to go from an injury standpoint or probability, the folks behind them on the depth chart are not as far away as it might seem. Anyway, that's my long was around saying that Dempsey, Martino, Olsen, Rolfe, Conrad, etc. are not as long a long shot as some may think.
