Correct. Just sayin' Monterrey's loss was a bigger upset. They were a very good team, but I would posit that it would be very hard to go undefeated in a double round-robin (which the MASL could have done this year, though it would have been expensive) on regulation fields.
Honestly, Baltimore has to do something. The Fans are upset. Season ticket holders walked after last year fiasco of we are going younger faster and more aggressive that was a complete backfire. We won't know anything on the Gianni Situation until June 6th, He checked himself into a mental hospital so that he did not have to go to court and could avoid being served a Peace order. Then a Letter has surface of him having an inappropriate interaction with a child at his catholic school and he was barred from being on the property or attending his daughters graduation because he would not meet with anyone to discuss the matter and clear his name.

Baltimore's troubles begin and pretty much end with being short as much as $400k in cash (at least that's what's alleged), so they have to bring in younger players who will play for less than the veterans who were traded / released. They succeeded in getting younger, but imo there was little improvement on 'faster' and 'more aggressive' was pretty much nonexistent. Injuries didn't help, along with Melo's visa issues, but to do a total rebuild the season after you made it to the Cup Final makes no sense without the financial issues happening.
The Blast scored almost exactly the same number of goals this season as the prior one, but gave up 53 more. I wonder if there's anyone who could have helped in that regard....
Well, Gianni Violated this Protective order. An Arrest warrant was issued on June 11th 2024 Some place along the lines He checked Him self in to Sheppard Pratt Hospital, On July 6th He was picked up and arrested. On July 8th He was denied Bail, He is being held without bond until his court hearing. Now depending on the Violation He may have to serve his 10 year suspended sentence in Baltimore County for theft.
