What is up with the kid that has a jersey on, paint on his face and legs, and runs around acting like an idiot? I know he was at the games last year. I was hoping hew would fade away. Is he part of the Mascot apprentice program? If so, he should be fired. This guy is embarrassing and really needs to be eliminated.
First fire the cheerleaders though. Sorry, cheerleaders, no offense meant---but I wouldn't hire cheerleaders for a dog track or a hockey arena either.
I always assumed that his contract stipulated that he must be given a case of beer - in advance - to run around for each game.
In what sport does a mascot add to the game? None. Get over it, some people like having mascots. I remember being 8 and more excited about a mascot than the game. It's ok.
I don't mind the mascot--the cheerleaders though, they have got to go! No offense to them, because I know they are just doing their job, but cheerleaders do NOT belong at a footy match!!!!
I always though he looked more like a rabid, mutant cake decoration. Maybe that was just the old flat head.
