I was unable to make it to the game last night, so I checked out the game account on mlsnet.com. The story says that Martino was "left hobbling" but then the lineup listed does not include Martino. Did Martino play? Was he hurt? From mlsnet.com: "But the home side's task became considerably more complicated soon after when defender Eric Denton was sent off when he was booked for a second time, this one a foul on Juan Arteaga. The game was a physical affair, the tone set from the outset when young playmaker Kyle Martino was left hobbling from a tackle by Martin Gomez. CREW: GK-Tom Presthus, D-Frankie Hejduk (Jake Traeger, 79), D- Chad McCarty, D-Nelson Akwari, D-Eric Denton, M- Duncan Oughton, M- Ross Paule, M-Diego Walsh, M-Freddy Garcia (Brian Maisonneuve, 60), F-Edson Buddle (Brian McBride, 50), F-Jeff Cunningham"
how bout you read the other threads (I advise the thread discussing the game in question) where that is already mentioned before starting a new thread... just an idea... but then again, a quick answer would be easier... maybe, uh, MLS is stupid and its a misprint? Or, Gomez dove into the bench to attack Martino, I like that one better.
How 'bout fcking off back to your own boards and not getting your panties in a bunch when one crew fan takes a friendly shot at another?
i tried to find info in the game thread, but after 3 pages of mostly inane Mexico vs. US bashing i gave up, so next time i'll just forge through instead of seeking direct answers
So is he hurt or not? I just waded through 3 pages of "let's talk about anything except the upcoming match" in the official upcoming match thread and got no more info than I had here.
