Did Marseille not make the cut for the UEFA Cup as well after today's results? I'm still a bit sketchy on each league's allowance for both the CL and UC. England can have 4 in the CL and 2 to 3 on the UC but other leagues can not. If they didn't make it in, I'll be extremely disappointed! I truly thought when Barthez returned we would have a great team to challenge for all trophy's. We kind of did too when you look back since Bathez's arrival. It sucks to sell off great players. I can't stand when a player says of Drogba's talents that he would love to go play for a big name club! Make the club your on a big name club. Marseille are nearly there anyway.
They have an oppertunity to enter the Intertoto Cup and I think they will enter it and I see no reason why they cant win it. I'm sure they dont wanna go without European football for 2 straight years over there.
