Dender vs Standard 13 Sep 14:45 EST Not on ESPN + Two surprise teams this season. Dender currently sits in 1st while Standard is in 10th. Fossey should start, but I think a lot will be determined by how much he was able to rest since the match vs NZ.
I imagine that the travel back from the US played a major role in this. Standard got a huge 3 away points in this one with a 0-2 victory.
Standard vs Union St. Gilloise 20 Sep 14:45 EST On ESPN + I suspect we will see Fossey in this one. Union is not playing well right now, and this could be an unexpected chance for them to pick up three points.
Got the call for the October window. I am not sure if he will get into Mexico match, but he might get into the Panama one.
Anderlecht vs vs Standard 6 Oct 7:25 EST On ESPN + Anderlecht is coming off a very short week, and possible a rotated squad. Standard has had a really odd first nine matches. 3 wins, 3 losses and 3 draws. 5 goals for and 5 against. They need to start picking up points again.
Fossey plays the whole match with solid ratings - but Anderlecht crush them 3-0 in a match where the stats were much more even. Bad stretch for Liege as @RobtheAggie referenced above.
Standard vs Sporting Charleroi 20 Oct 12:25 EST On ESPN + Big Wallon Derby this weekend. They have reduced the amount of visiting fans from 3k to 1500. Fossey was sent back to Belgium from the US camp due to a slight injury. If healthy, there is no way he does not start this match.
Started and played most of the match in a 3-0 loss to Antwerp. Once again very active moving forward.
Belgian Cup match today vs Lyra-Lierse at 3pm. Not sure how much of a squad rotation there will be for this one.
Fossey indeed started. Played the whole match - yellow card, two chances created, 91% passing, generally good ratings, and Standard move to even on points with the Championship Round spots for now.
I'd like to see him with the full team as I was quite impressed with his game in the last callup but it wasn't the toughest opponent. He seems a much closer to Dest option if he can do it against tougher foes than anyone else. Would make tactics easier if Dest is out than completely changing things.
Active moving forward as normal, but still did enough on the defensive side of things to get the 3 points.
Two crosses highlighted. One which led to the PK. He was also big in a defensive moment inside the penalty area.
