Good thing Trap is going with 2 strikers again. It's a shame Miguel won't be playing. I'd like to give Trap a suggestion. Why don't you play J. Perreira at right back and keep Geovanni as the winger. He played very well against Setubal and Amoreirinha just sucks at RB.

I like the two striker formation that Trappatoni used against Vitoria Setubal so I think he will continue to use it. Also, I would allow Geovanni to play free again, let him feed the strikers through the middle and make runs down the flank, that was his role last week and he played great. I expect Benfica to play a good game and win.

That was a Sokota dive through and through. If the name Liedson was on the back of his shirt or if his shirt were blue and white stripes, then the referee would have awarded him the penalty kick. But, he was right. Sokota dove after feeling the hand on his chest and got the yellow card. The ref had both players' backs towards him. From his angle he saw a blatant dive.

Maritimo just owned Benfica today. Benfica played like crap while Maritimo would pressure the midfield and win the balls at ease. They'd in turn set up great passes and were unlucky to only come away with one.

Moreira save of the game early in the second half let Benfica escape with a point as Benfica could do nothing but give away passes and blow opportunities. Sokota was awful today. And, Trap should've at least use his last sub on him with Zahovic. Bruno Aguiar, after coming on, did well earning corner kicks and centering the damn ball. It's a shame that players don't get carded often enough on rough plays like what happened with Geovanni. Geovanni, if I'm guessing, looked to be out with a seperated shoulder.

Maritimo is a great team. Such a shame they won't play well against Porto.

Congrats to Porto for winning the Superliga. Long live PDC. He'll live to be 103.

Both Teams started good but lost the touch as the game went on. Benfica clearly lacks a playmaker and a good bench and rely too much on individuals. If they don't win the champioship they have that to blame

fair result, Leo Lima was awesome , i still can't understand why is Amoreirinha playing in the lineup? now i know why Alverca was relegated, crappy players like him playing in Lineup, benfica's right wing was a high way, everybody did what they wanted to do

btw, good referee, Bruno Aguiar deserves already a place in that team, he's too good to be benched with some crappy players in the lineup.
    well we're in 2nd place
