Yes there was a scandal about that last year. PSG fans were furious in particular because their forward Pierre-Alain Frau was suspended 2 months after a similar move on Sedan's striker Stéphane Noro. In both cases, the tacklers are very poor technical players and didn't want to injury. But as Frau seemed deeply sorry - he's very gentle and never wanted to hurt anybody - Cissé was more egoist. The commission de discipline was the most criticized as are often the French soccer authorities for their laxism, their sense of politic and their lack of authority.

The defender of Paris Saint Germain Mario Yepes (32) is still ready to leave. The colombian man, expiring contract, is destined to leave Paris in June and there are many offers: Fenerbache, Betis Siviglia and Real Saragoza are tracking the young expert player arrived in 2004

On verra (…) »

Yepes would want to stay at PSG but the managers only offered him a prolongation with wages divided by 2. He still hopes another offer as there will be a new chairman but he thinks he will leave, many are interesting in him since he's free.

God how I would love to see him play for River again. Now that's a dream. But what would be a fantasy is seeing him and Ayala in the back for River together. Talk about experience.

River is in the buisness to make money no way will they start 2 32+ old CBs so that in the transfer season tehy cant sell anyone ....

I will believe yepes and a CB they can sell but Yepes-Ayala I really doubt becacuse no way they will ever be sold to europe

Heck I wouldnt mind Yepes at NYRBs like was previously said... make more colombains go to games and its not like Yepes is an NT player anymore that him at River will matter to us

Man. The Red Bulls defense is like swiss cheese (full of holes), Yepes would be a godsend around here!

That said, while folks are linking Ayala with a return to River, you'd have to think that Yepes might be a cheaper more able alternative. Injuries have robbed each of a step of pace, but I think either would manage very well in LatAm today.

No matter what, River needs a quality CB to sure things up for the next two tournies - Cabral is AWFUL and doesn't deserve to wear the shirt, IMHO.

That's exactly my point. River's back four needs an EXPERIENCED player. Tuzzio and Nico Sanchez are decent, Gerlo needs to go back to Quilmes, and Cabral should go back to Racing. The sad thing is that all four of these defenders don't even come near both Yepes and Ayala as great defenders. I would rather have a Yepes who has suffered the injury bug as of late versus Cabral or Gerlo.

and the worst thing is that tuzzio is good but in each match he has a fatal error
