Rumor is he could sign with us and play somewhere on the left, although we have a decent wing (Garcia) and some young left defenders...

Any news over there as to his intentions? No way I'd be able to translate anything written in Polish...

MLS never learns....MLS has had good fortune with up & coming US based players, yet in spite of teh US based players being the most integral part of its' popularity, it still seems to think Euro-has beens (or never have beens) lend some sort of legitimacy to the league.

Truly sad. Time for MLS to stop being the last train station at the end of the line.

This has to do with Advertising not Legitimacy. By bringing a European player to MLS you are trying to bring the respective European emigrates, from that country, to the game. In the same move you are creating awareness of MLS in the respective home country, of the player that you are bringing.

besides, aside perhaps from Podbrozny, MLS has had really good luck with Polish players - Nowak, Warzycha, Kosecki were all key contributors

anyway, that's unimportant - he went to Gornik Zabrze anyway for the fear of MLS being too far for him to be able to win back a spot on the national team

I still think Fire should have signed Citko - now he's wasting away in the Polish 2nd division
