I remember talking to Peter when he was GM and him saying how he would not stand in someone's way if they wanted to go to Europe to expand their game. I realize there is more interest in MLS than there was at the time.. still, he always thought of what was best for the player as well. On the other hand, we made a decision to lose Barret, Marsh, Andre R (that was Peter's I think) and others.
I think that would still be his philosophy, but we cannot stand in Pappa's way, if he wants to go he will be able to go. Still, if we can convince him to stay we should, and I am pretty sure Peter would be doing his damnedest to convince him to stay.
Yes, Ante Razov. Sorry - I am old. BTW, I know he was hurt. Has he came back or is he expected to play again?
Razov is in the twilight of a solid (at times scintillating) MLS career. He's the quintessential left-footed striker - fades in and out of the game, great technique. He's been with Chivas USA for years. He's also injured more often than he's healthy at this point. Not a durable guy. But absolutely yes, he did play again.
