Very good defender, but fragile af.

 

OK. Trying taking a blind sided slide tackle where your major joints torque and twist and fall awkwardly and let’s see how many players come out of that unscathed. No mamen.

 

But look at the injury during the Confed Cup, he was out 2-3 months. Then the injury before the World Cup, 2 months out again. And now this injury, and he's out 2-3 months. I really like Salcedo, but this shows his fragility.

 

This is true and why Reyes, Montes, Alvarez, Vargas, and the rest need to step up. Right now we only have two top flight CBs in Salcedo and Araujo not counting Moreno who is on the decline. Salcedo is injury prone so if I'm one of the young guys I know I have an opportunity to step up and gain a spot.

 

I know it's still early to tell but Alexis Peña from Pachuca has been solid this season. Dudes 6'2" and 22 years of age.

Dude is swole and I've seen those athletes can be injury prone due to lack of flexibility and over strain on the joints from lifting and muscle tightness. I wonder if he needs to ease up on the lifting.

You're right, in Europe fitness is even more important, so he shouldn't be getting injured so easily.

 

I dont care how fit you are, you get tackled like he did something is for sure broken.

 

Their "analysis" is so dumb it's not even funny...as if fitness would have prevented a blunt force trauma injury from occurring.

 

Maybe football players should be more fit since they get so many concussions.

 

Bet Salcedo comes back sooner than expected. This guy is a professional no mamadas
