Or in proper Spanish C.F. Ciudad Juárez playing Club America...
He is starting in defense, someone could tell me where exactly...

    HT

Indios are manhandling America, but score is only 2-1... That goalie from the commercials is not that bad, apparently... :p

    Game is live on Univision...

Just before HT, dude says Club America has not won at home (ie at Azteca) in FIVE months? That's pretty pathetic.....

Anyway, great to see this YA getting back into good graces....Is someone injured? Coach's decision? It'd be nice if they could hold on for the win..

3-3 FT.. Vidal plays all 90, did not see him much....result welll earned, but are still last in relegation battle....

Caba~as is a monster for Club Aguilas del America....AHe got a hat trick today and played all 90 despite being injured (they were out of subs) but the other 10 players for them are hopelessly average, which may explain why their team has not won at home in 5 plus months now

Vidal played in a general left mid position as Indios played a very defensive style with most of their men behind the ball. The diagram on Mediotiempo has him in about the right position.

I had some difficulty picking him up but Vidal was definitely on the field for the whole game. Edgar Castillo was quite active for America getting forward from his left wingback position and had shots that were just saved (believe he also had one that was deflected onto post).

In spite of the high score Indios played quite defensively. They got 2 quick goals a few minutes apart early in the game and then spent most of their time defending. After about 60 minutes when America tied it up at 2 Indios scored a real golazo to retake the lead on a 25 yard crossed shot by Curbelo that dipped under the crossbar. America equalized in the 80' when Cabanas got behind the defense to get onto a diagonal cross from Beusejour and finish off his hat trick. Most of America's attack came from the left involving Beasjour and Castillo often sending in balls for Salvador Cabanas. Vidal was on the left so he may not have been responsible for any of the lapses although someone (not sure who) let Cabanas
get behind him for the equalizer.

It was Indios first ever game in the Azteca and they almost got a historic victory. They had a pretty big section of fans present in the stadium. Disappointing that they didn't hang on for the win but it would have been a pretty big upset. They would have moved out of the last place relegation spot past both Necaxa and Tigres with a win but instead they remain last in the relegation race with 4 matches left.

Since relegation percentages are calculated over the past 3 years and Indios is just finishing their first year in the top division, their percentage is calculated by just figuring out their average points per game in the past year. Since other teams have to calculate their ppg over 2 or 3 years, Indios have a potential advantage in moving up the relegation table more quickly if they earn some victories.

Anyway, it's good to see Marco starting a game as I thought he might have been forgotten by the coach. After not playing all season he's played in the last 2 games:

You must spread some reputation around before.............................. Someone hook garbaggio up for me! He deserves it! :D

Marco has indeed played 90 the last two minutes. Marco played off and on in the Aperatura but for whatever reason fell out of favor in the Closura. In may have been because Sergio Orduna was canned. I'm assuming Marco earned his minutes the past few weeks by showing well in the Primera División A (2nd Division) with the Indios Reserves. Whatever the case it's great to see Marco get some minutes. I hope in the next few days he'll pop up and give us and update.
