Actually, I'm sure I'm right. You've attended zero MLS games and have spoken to zero MLS execs. Your book is a load of made up crap trying to capitalize on Beckham's arrival to MLS.
You're pretty stupid, but I think you have at least enough brain cells to not enter into a debate that you know you will lose. That's why you refuse to answer how many MLS games you've attended. As soon as you admit it's zero, your entire "thesis" for your magnum opus will come crashing down. I feel sorry for anyone stupid enough to buy the crap you peddle.
Enjoy waiting. Given your continually irritating and rude tone, it'll be some time before you get any kind of answer out of me. However, as I said before, if you dig around you'll not only find the number of MLS execs I met in New York, you'll also find their names. And if you look really hard you'll also find details of some of the soccer games I've attended in the US(including the MLS ones) and even in a few instances, the names of some of the people I attended them with. Have fun... oh, and a happy New Year.
This from a guy who posted this earlier in this thread: Your posts amuse me. More so, I fear, than your book would, if I were to buy it. Which I won't. Instead, I'm going to wait for the movie version, starring ex-hobbit Billy Boyd as a Scottish exchange student at the Ohio State University who gets sucked into the dark, dangerous hooligan underworld of Union 103.
Hey, I know that this is not the place to post this, but I really need some help. I play varsity soccer, in my 4th straight year in high school. I also played Premier League for the NorCal section of the CYSA, with the Orchard Valley Sharks. I plan to go to an NCAA DI college and play there as well. But I have a question: I am seriously considering going pro, but I want to know what one has to go through, or what one must do to proceed in the correct direction, starting from making on the college soccer squad. If you could give me some orientation, I would really appreciate that. Maybe somebody with this knowledge can send me a private message or something. Thank you.
Try the Player forum. More importantly, before you try out for a "pro" team, check with a real lawyer aka, not an agent) that it doesn't kill your amateur (read, college) options.
I'd like it if it did kick off in MLS though, especially if they all started gunning each other down, that would be hilarious.
