Women’s professional soccer is coming to New Haven —
at least for one day.
The Boston Breakers and New York Power of the Women’s United Soccer Association will play an exhibition at Southern Connecticut State’s Jess Dow Field on March 15 at 6 p.m.

From the Breakers' website: Breakers Suffer 4-1 Loss

A lot of Breakers' firepower is at Algarve and, admittedly, a good offense can take a lot of pressure off a weak defense. Still, that's a lot of goals coughed up. I hope that Sundhage got to see what she needed to identify spots 15-18 on the roster. Next game is Saturday in Lost Wages.
