A new rumor has surfaced in the last two days. Apparently FC Köln is interested in Marcel Koller as a replacement for Friedhelm Funkel. A poll has shown that Koller is already the fan-favorite in Cologne...

    Marcel Koller (GC) 65,59%
    Christoph Daum (Fenerbahce) 13,48%
    Jürgen Klopp (Mainz) 6,24%
    Klaus Toppmöller (ex Leverkusen) 4,63%

Just when I thought things couldn't get worse for GC.

Well he is out of GCZ.

Carlos Bernegger is leading the team on an interm basis. If tradition holds true, GC will beat Thun because a new coach seems to have that impact on the team.

I am not too sure what to think about this. The team has played very bad this season, but is it more the managements falt for letting a bunch of players go in the offseason?

Well, Funkel is out at Cologne. Koller is now the favorite for the Job, although Kurt Jara has also been mentioned...

    ...and it's now official...

Marcel Koller works in the Bundesliga. Cologne gave him a contract until 2006, which means he's there long-term (rather than a season savior.)

The goal is to keep Cologne in the Bundesliga until this baby is built:
