Apparently Heider scored yesterday against Wiesbaden in a 1-0 away win.

He continues to be a mainstay of Holstein's stellar season; an unbeaten run of 7 wins and one draw has seen Kiel climb from 10th to 2nd in the table.

Heider has played in 27 out of 29 games, for 9 goals and 5 assists (plus 3 yellow cards :D).

Meanwhile Kenn Kronholm has played 90' in every single game.

After conceding the 1st goal vs. Chemnitzer FC last weekend, Heidi assisted the tying goal (4:21) and scored the game winner (8:04) to keep Holstein Kiel in the 2nd spot, which promises automatic promotion to 2. Liga, by 1 point with 2 rounds to go:

He now has 7 assists and co-leads the team with 11 goals.

    Academy? @bungadiri

    Maybe not for long.

Missed promotion due to an injury time strike by 1860 in the 2nd leg of the playoff

I saw the whole game, and you'd have felt for Kiel.

Individually, 1860 were by far the better side, but Kiel were the only team out there: lesser players for sure, but they were working for each other, had a good gameplan and played much better football. In a word, they passed the ball, not the buck, to each other.

1860 nicked a goal on 80' as Kiel's players visibly tired (according to the commentators there's a big gap in fitness between BL2 and BL3 teams) and that shook Kiel up too much as the crowd roared 1860 on. Emotion and what the English call "put it in the mixer" got them the winner.

Heider was benched, but came on for the last 20-25 minutes, mostly at LM. He worked hard and intelligently, causing a lot of problems but he lacked technical finesse in execution and often reacted fractionally too late. He's a BL3 player on this showing.

Ken Kronnholm went 90' for Kiel. Good news: seems like an excellent shot-stopper, making some really good saves. Bad news: as the second half wore on he never dominated his area and was frequently indecisive, which defenders hate. If he sorts that out, he can play at a higher level.

He continues to start of Holstein Kiel. Started all 3 games (2 league and 1 cup) but hasn't scored yet.
