Donovan knew Bruce Arena was sitting up in the stands, and wanted to show well after a conversation they had the day before.

“He said I had to concentrate with doing well with San Jose,” said the 21-year-old. “If you don’t well with them, you won’t be called in. It was that plain and simple. And that’s the way it should be.”

I hope Arena had similar words with Mathis...

From the same article, it's the same old petke:

(Mike Petke’s head might still be spinning from a move Buddle beat him on for a goal last Saturday afternoon.)

    big up to Brooklyn

Reports on this board also state that we still have a chance of getting Roberto Baggio and George Weah. Theres a recent one with people stating the Mark Lisi should be our #10. i always said he was good, but he's no #10, not yet anyway.

Most of the rumors on the board dont come true, but you never know.
