As we look forward to Sunday this happens making people scramble for alternatives: https://www.nbcnews.com/news/us-new...ky-warehouse-destroys-45-000-barrels-n1026236 OK, it is not really soccer related but it is a tragedy worthy of note for everyone, at least those that enjoy the primary product of Kentucky. Just wanted to lighten the mood a bit. I know I am in morning for all those barrels.
Fortunately that's just one of their warehouses and it's young. They were already being picked out for tariffs in Europe since they are in Kentucky.
This is going to sound really sick but I honestly thought you were talking about a possible mass shooting event because the title sounded super serious. I'm glad it was a bit of a light-hearted tragedy.
This is the third bourbon warehouse to have trouble recently. Two old buildings collapsed, breaking many barrels. This warehouse fire was let burn for several days to minimize the runoff. So far, in all 3, the bourbon has flowed to creeks (which flow to rivers), causing fish kills and pollution in general. Three different distilleries in 3 different areas. It seems these warehouses are not being maintained and cared for as they should.
We here in Kentucky also have to make sure we get the proper provisions by Saturday, as there are no alcohol sales before 1 p. m. on Sundays.
