Ah, yes. Carrington is it called, had forgotten that name. Will look at gettyimages. How many pitches do they have?

p.s.: Are you familiar with names from India or where did you get the info? Just curious?

Yeah, Bollywood produces waggon loads of movies but only a handful of actors appear. Must be somehow like in pornbiz. Every second day a new movie! ;-)

Btw, funny story.....3 or 4 years ago. I was on a flight back from Mumbai to Frankfurt together with a friend when an (Indian) guy tipped me on the shoulder and asked me for an autograph. Took me some minutes to understand what he wanted and some more minutes to explain him that I don't put my signature anywhere. At all the whole scene made no sense to me. Several months later I mentioned it in a smalltalk with my father. You know what? He told me that there is an Indian actor who somehow looks like me (or me looking like him ;-). Still haven't seen a pic of this actor. Hopefully he looks like this:

    ....and not like this:

Yeah, really every wedding scene. At all I not really a fan of Bollywood (my sister goes crazy for that kind of stuff), but some movies are worth having a look at.

Btw, Amitabh Bachchan is moderator of India's edition of "Who wants to be a millionaire", though there it is called "Kauna Banega Crorepati" (In Germany it is called "Wer wird Millionär" ;-). "Crore" is the Indian word for 10.000.000. That is at all the amount of money you can win (in Rupee). That are about 200.000 Euro - not the kind of money I leave the house for! *cough* *ggg*

Seen that over there, as well as "Indian Idol"... yeah... ;)

Oh and to answer your previous question about our training facility, Carrington, there are usually pics up at manutdzone.com, but the site has been down for at least a few days now.

All this reminds me of the time I once came across "Who wants to win 10.000?" whilst trawling through foreign tv station websites one day looking for those who show 3pm Saturday premiership football live. I can't for the life of me remember which country it was, but it mad me smile a little.

Inspired by your post, I tried to find it again but alas, I was unsuccessful. This one sounds like fun though:

Russia: In Russia, the show is called Кто хочет стать миллионером? (Kto hochet stat' millionerom?) (Who wants to be a Millionaire?), it's hosted by Maksim Galkin and aired on state Channel 1. Earlier it was called О, счастливчик! (O, Schastlivchik) (Oh, lucky man!), hosted by Dmitry Dibrov and aired on the NTV channel. Here, the 'Ask the Audience' lifeline isn't one that the contestant would often use because the audience often gives wrong answers intentionally to trick the contestants. The biggest prize here is 1,000,000 Russian Rubles (about $36,000 as of May 2005).
