A colleague from London is in Dallas and wants to watch the annual Manchester United--Manchester City game. Know any bar that will be telecasting the game?
The match is on FSW and FSWE (delayed) so someone must be showing it. It will be in a bar or on a TV of someone near you.
Just some names to get you started asking, The Dubliner, Fox and Hound, There may even be a place called The Londoner If it's on FSW, almost any sports bar would be happy to put it on for you I imagine. And how could I forget, Ben's Half Yard House. Away viewing home of the Dallas Burn and great deals on half-yards of good brew, ie Newcastle, Boddington's, etc. That's where I'd go. Call first to make sure there's not some huge game on that will be taking every screen in the place. I doubt it.
The big problem is that it is a 7:30am start time (local) so it maybe very hard to find a bar open and then ofcourse the no alcohol sales before noon puts a bit of a wet blanket on it. I would say buy some pints on Saturday get up early and watch a potentially great match at home.
It's Sunday morning at 7:30am? That is going to present a challenge. Hmmm... 24-hour sports bar... I don't know. Either find a friend with FSW or check in to hotel with the channel and trash the room if your team loses. Call the Dubliner and ask what they recommend.
The Dubliner normally only opens early for Celtic matches, although they did open once for the ManU/Liverpool Charity shield last season. Who knows?? Try 'em out.
