Spurs head to a rejuvenated United for the early kickoff on Saturday.

We are unbeaten against them in the last 8 in all comps, but they are a different kettle of fish under Michael Carrick, who came in for the hapless Ruben Amorim.

After a disastrous transfer window, Thomas Frank and his Danish compatriot Johan Flange showed they are just as bad at PR as they are at football.

Frank's pre-match presser was a master class in confusion, in which he could not confirm that Cuti would be back next season, and then waffled when asked if the player had crossed a line or had been disciplined. After regurgitating the claptrap Flange gave us earlier in the week, he repeated that he was not enjoying the job as Tottenham manager.

If you don't like the job, sod off you maggott.

Romero is over his illness and van de Ven should be ready. Solanke is also ok after coming off late vs City. Spence however is touch and go so maybe Gray will fill in at RB.

Vibes around Carrick are through the roof so it would be nice to break that spell. Not exactly sure how we will manage it though.

Romero has now officially entered Pantload™ status with his second sending off of the season. He will miss the next 4 games when the team is already down to the bare bones.

He was sent off for a nasty and needless challenge on Casemiro, as he continues to pursue this senseless feud he has with Brazilian opponents.

He looks even more of a bonehead after running off his mouth about the club's lack of transfer activity. If you are going to shoot off your mouth, you can't go out and get yourself sent off like a pisshead wanker in the next game.

If he wants to leave in the summer, than he can ********ing sod off, I'm done with this tosser.

I don't like those reds and it should never be a red. Romero didn't challenge the ball, he had it.

It used to be that players knew how to protect themselves. By giving those reds, players feel less need to protect themselves. I actually think that's more dangerous. When those reds aren't given, players think twice about how they go about their game.

Man U just showboating now, but still can't finish it? The game should be done and dusted. Carrick has Man U playing a lot of one-touch football. It's very good, but Spurs just need one mistake, one set-piece to draw level without a second goal.

Yellow for a good tackle. Michael Oliver, you've gone too soft.

It was a red all day long, a really bonehead challenge from a fraud of a player.

And Bruno puts it away taking advantage of slack marking from Archie Gray.

Earlier in the half, Udogie had to come off injured, which gave Souza his debut.

Back in the day, never a red. Romero a fraud? I think he's OK for EPL standards, but he's a better fit at Barca/Real and he would do well there.

If West Ham win at Burnley, we are in big trouble.

We are no longer back in the day. Everyone knows, including Romero, that you don't get away with that challenge anymore. And it's not the first time he's done that.

And yes he is a fraud. He took the coward's way out and let his teammates down. He doesn't give a toss and I hope he will be off in the summer. Good riddance.

    FT 2-0.

Romero's idiotic sending off killed off any chance we had of getting a result. Not worthy of being our captain, I'm done with this guy and his clown show.

We are now winless in 7, just 2 wins in the last 15, and 5 wins in the last 23. We are in relegation form and I don't fancy any of these players in a relegation dogfight.

The only positive was our goal difference didn't take a beating, we might need it to stay up.

Hey Lads, sorry for your loss. Wanted to ask If Carrick isn't given a permanent contract, would you guys take him in the summer?

What difference would it make? Our director of football and scouting team don't sign quality. We needed reinforcements this January, and they sold Johnson, and only brought in Gallagher and Souza.

You can't make apple sauce with rotten apples.

I tuned in just in time for the red card - how did we look before that?

We were decent, that's why it's so frustrating.

I think Romero was given a dressing down for his comments, possibly fined, and getting sent off today was a petulant act from a coward who knows he's leaving in the summer.

It was an open contest before the red, very evenly matched.

It's still a BS red. At least he'll fetch you pretty penny. Can't say the same of Maguire. Anyways, cheer up @Golara, the curling is on. Frozen nips and fat bottom girls.

Lionel Messi needs to explain why he thinks Romero is the best center back in the world. He's going to miss nearly a quarter of the season through suspensions, FFS. Ridiculous.

I think with his comments and his actions, he is generating a move out of the club.

West Ham have won their game. Relegation is now a real possibility. The club are a complete shambles at the minute.

It changes week to week. Last weekend they lost 3-2 after being 2 up, and we came back to get a point after being 2 down.

Forest and Palace, as well as West Ham, are in more danger than us IMO. Yes, we are a shambles, and it's sad that the only thing that might save us is that others are just as bad.

If you watch it in slow-mo it looks like a red. Whenever the studs are up and raking a leg its usually a red. Looked painful as hell
