For once, Soccernet had an astute piece about how Mikel's return to the side has been incredibly important to Chelsea's recent good form. He is someone we'll have to mark.

Well, several weeks ago when I said that he would make it into our midfield or mentioned that he was part of the reason Chelsea's midfield is stronger than ours and an important part of their core I was pretty much laughed at.
I think we'll see something like this: - - -- - - -- - -VDS -- - - - -- - - - Fabio - - - Rio - - - Vidic - - - Evra - -- - - - - - -Carrick- - -- - - - - - Valencia - Rooney - - Giggs - - Park - - - - -- - - ---Chicharito - -- - -- - -

I see this more against Barca than I do Chelski. I think itll be Giggs on the left wing but Im not sure if Fletch is even ready.
I like the formation that Iggles posted. It's pretty much the same one that we fielded against them in the CL. I see little reason as to why we should deviate from that for this match. Even if they do have David Luiz available.
Man, I can't lie. I'm worried as shit about this. If we somehow get all 3 points, which by all accounts and previous form guarantees, I'll lose my mind.
We can do this. I hope we're attacking. We need to have confidence in our defence and midfield. If we play cautious, it is inviting Chelsea to do what they do best, apply pressure and attack. What I'd like to see: ---------------------------------------Cheech ----------------------Rooney Park---------------------------------------------------------Valencia ---------------------Giggs ------------------------------------------Carrick Evra----------------------------------------------------------Fabio/Rafa --------------------Vidic------------------Ferdinand -------------------------------VDS A very fluid team with Park, Giggs and Rooney pretty much interchangeable. If we gain a lead at any point after 60 minutes, drop Cheech for Nani, move Park to AM and play Chelsea on the counter.
