Looks like Wes Brown & Silvestre are out. Time for Keano to play back there. Hope Rio's up to playing his old mates. Looks like he was thinking about this game when he misplayed that ball that led to Owen's goal on Sunday. ;)

The last time these two met, Leeds won at home 1-0.

The game will be shown live on FSW at noon PT. Replay at 5pm PT. Primetime for east coasters. Just don't log on to BS Wednesday afternoon unless you want to know the results.

Must-win situation. But then, shouldn't every game be like that?

United up 1-0 on an OG by Leeds. Still was a nice cross by Beckham.

    It is a final!

    Man Utd 2 - 1 Leeds United

A much needed win. Great game boys.

Mills seemed to play nasty in the end.

Yeah it was only out for like 5 mins. I don't know whose fault it was. You might not even notice anything.

Well it was a miserable second half, but 3 points is 3 points. Too bad Man U couldn't capitalize on more chances, or the game could've been in hand much earlier. There seemed to be a definite lack of hustle, as Leeds almost seemed to have more heart at certain times. But Beckham and Silverstre came to the rescue, and that's what matters.

Victory comes at a hefty price:

Keano has a slight hamstring - 3 weeks

Veron and Fortune also picked up slight knocks, with Veron's looking a little more worriesome.

I'm gutted as I will probably not be able to see Keano play on my trip over now.

    True dat!

The walking wounded need to get some well-deserved rest. That will be against Basel next week.

The next league game is against Aston Villa on March 15, so it will be a much needed rest for the guys. BTW, it is a 12:30pm local time kickoff so it will probably be shown live on FSW.
    Any update on Veron's injury?
