    Manchester United US Tour 2004

So besides Man U who else is planning to tour this summer? Are there any confirmed dates at this time?

    Thanks

The only other confirmed club is Celtic. There are rumors about Liverpool, Chelsea, Real Madrid and AC Milan...

ManU and Celtic Summer Tour (Champions World)

If you sign up for their (ManU or Celtic) membership you get a definite chance of buying tickets.

    http://www.championsworld.com/memberships/

cost is $55 w/shipping for one.

I bought one without even confirming if they are coming to Seattle...

edit: did a search for Champions World and did not see that other thread. Sorry for the confusion

    Chelsea also touring...

    From the LA Times 03/16:

    Chelsea and MLS?

Chelsea, second to Arsenal in the English Premier League, could be the opponent for MLS All-Stars for the American league's midsummer game this season, according to ussocceruk.com.

The game would be played at Washington's RFK Stadium.

The English club has made waves since being purchased last summer by Russian billionaire oil tycoon Roman Abramovich.

"The … opponent and site are still being determined," Trey Fitzgerald, MLS director of communications, told the website. "Chelsea is one of several international clubs being considered, while RFK Stadium is one of several sites being considered."

...and, finally, dear God, we remember Thy most holy words, that "the first shall be last, and the last shall be first".

Please, God, please...make it Monaco v. Deportivo in the final of the Champions League final, and Gençlerbirligi (or Valencia, if Thou can forgive the cardinal sin of being in the G-14) v. Benfica in the UEFA Cup Final, and I will....ummm....promise never, ever again, to be mean to my fellow posters.

    Amen.

I can understand the high price for tickets, the events sold out so quickly last year, they would be fools not to push the prices a little bit... I want the best seats available, I just dont like having to pay a mandatory $35.00 extra for the practice session on friday, to get them..

I don't have the answer but glad I'm on the East coast. The only disappointing attendance that Championsworld had last year was LA, plus Champions world is out of New Jersey also.

Hey, the West Coast gets the lion's share of Mexican National matches, which I wouldn't mind seeing over here more often than once a year. I realize the weather cuts the East Coast out of several months of matches, so maybe this is payback.

Seriously though, I wonder if the European clubs prefer to stay on the East Coast. They traveled enough hours to get to the States as it is. The thought of more hours on a plane to and from the West Coast for a single match probably doesn't seem appealing.

Good POint I'm sure they did not come here to just fly the friendly skys. They have a few weeks and they need to play and have workouts, too much travel time would slow that down. Then again who would have guessed Pittsburgh would get a match over LA, Houston, Washington DC and so on!

I got my ticket to the Giants Stadium July 31 match this morning. Man U vs. AC Milan. Fourth row(!), ground level, near one of the goals.

Who's going to any of the matches. Declare yourselves!

Got tickets for ManU vs Bayern Munich in Chicago. Only ones left anywhere close to the field was section 126, row 15. Never been to Soldier Field, are these seats horrible since it's that tiny corner section on the map.
