final date announced - July 13th in Bangkok vs Singha All-Star XI.

    ---

"Manchester United will travel almost the same distance as the circumference of the globe this summer after the Barclays Premier League leaders today announced the final date of their marathon pre-season tour.

Sir Alex Ferguson’s squad will prepare for the 2013-14 campaign by embarking on a near 24,000-mile round trip comprising games in Bangkok, Sydney, Yokohama, Osaka and Hong Kong over a gruelling three-week period in July."

Was planning to go for the Hong Kong or Thailand games earlier, but seems unlikely at the moment with other things. :(

    Hi all,
Would anyone have any idea where I could find out if/where there would be open training sessions in the Sydney leg of the tour?

I assumed it wouldn't be released yet either but was hoping that someone would know where to look based on previous experience.

Thanks for your help. I'll give it a crack.

Same can be said about Young too. Always seems injured.

Though it hopefully now opens up space for the U21's.

Rio Ferdinand's testimonial against Sevilla on August 9 is going to be officially streamed for free by BT Sport and Rio's company.

Its the same injury he's had since may. The season hasn't been over that long yet. Same deal with young.

Januzaj, Lingard and M. Keane are included in the tour. No Bebe or Mached. Good choices

What's Powell's status? If healthy, I'm surprised he's not on the summer tour.

Edit: Also, why isn't Vidic included? Hopefully he's not dealing with knee issues again.

Vidic: @StuMathiesonMEN - Vidic has a touch of sciatica and will join tour at a later date #fb #mufc

Powell has been in some promo shots but it seems that he did have surgery right at the end of last season. it's only been just under two months.

anyway, at the first presser i'm sure it will all come out.

Good to see Lingard / Januzaj there ahead of the likes of Bebe and Macheda.

Guess, that might be that for Petrucci too.

    Shame.. :(
