It seems Park was credited with the assist for Rooney's goal in the first leg against Roma.

 

And I thought only the Park fanboys would be in favor of crediting an unwarranted assist.

It's also interesting that he's 2nd overall in assists. I have to admit that I get extremely annoyed watching him play, but even when there are major problems with his game and he is being played out of position, he is able to contribute so much. If he can get it together on his finishing and we start to play him in his proper role, it could be scary good.
