Ruud is partnering Saha in attack per Fergie's pre-match comments. Also, Phil Neville and Kleberson have both returned to training following their injuries. I know with certain other managers lying about the health of their players, it's easy to believe that Fergie may have been doing the same with some of ours. I guess that's better than freaking out that Ruud or Klebs is crocked permanently or something.... I never know with some of you.
good news on RVN. I really want to see Klebs back in the side for a mini run before the season ends...just to get an even better idea of how he plays, and his potential. charlton are a decent side and work well as a unit, shoud be a tough game, but i think a united win.
Here's to hoping for Ronaldo on the right and Kleberson in the middle partnered with Keane. I still think that would be our best attacking option.
I wonder if it's any coincidence that Kleberson's "injury" is gone on the same day that Scholes gets a three match ban from the FA.
Scholes gets a 3 match ban for a shove on a Boro player. (what? No warning for future conduct and/or a fine? - ah.... he plays for United, it all makes sense now) He'll miss the Charlton, Scousers, and Rovers matches... choosing not to appeal so he's available for the FA Cup Final.
Don't know, but if Alex had played Klebs instead of Scholes, he'd have been attacked for not playing Scholes, true?
I'm assuming it'll still be Carroll for the time being, unless we hear something soon indicating otherwise. Carroll hasn't been as steady as I'd like, but he hasn't made any real howlers yet. And I think his experience may just be giving him the edge over Howard at the moment. Timmy will get another chance, it's just a matter of when now....
I agree with Motterman. Also it seems like Timmy tourette syndrome has worsened and will probably rest for the rest of the season. Hope that Timmy get well.

Thanks for the info boys; here's another question. Is SAF playing to win and get the second place automatic qualification spot or is he showcasing this summers cast-offs for potential buyers (or a combination of both). IMO, he's doing a bit of both. The team is lacking something; I can't put my finger on it. Injuries and suspensions aside, some of the squad aren't at the same level as in the past couple of years. It's going to be an interesting summer.
He could not fear being attacked for selection policies, this is the man that has played Giggs as a support striker and Scholes as a DM.. and Kleberson on the right, and put Nicky Butt on the field and paired him with DjDj... no... he dislikes Klebs for some reason and is only playing him because he really feels he has no other option... of course we will probably see Nicky Butt playing withdrawn striker or some other nonsense pick... I swear I am sick of the selections... Klebs has not played for such a long time and I think his last outing was on the right so I expect him not to do so well, which would supposedly give SAF reason to bannish him to the bench when Scholes comes back or sell him in the summer... ah... I am really frustrated with ManU right now..
I heard its carroll in goal now for the rest of the season because howard had a bad run. You lot may not agree with me on this one but im a glad we got rid of barthez, i dont think he settled very well and i didnt like him. It also annoyed me how is sorta smiled if he made a mistake that led to a goal. I like Kleberson, i remember he had a good game when we beat Man City 3-1 earlier in the season. Does anybody like darren fletcher? I personally dont think he is that good?!
I like Kleberson as a player. Not sure if he'll have a chance to make it in England though. He probably would prefer to play in Spain or Italy though, I am guessing. Fletcher has grown up this year - he had no choice when continually being picked by Sir Alex. He's put his best performances in when playing central midfield, which is where his natural position is. He's crap on the wing, but there are many other players who just don't look comfortable out there either.... His performance against Arsenal will hopefully give him a confidence boost and we'll start to see why Fergie and the staff think so highly of him. I said, hopefully.
He has a good point though, Motter....Klebs will be thrown into the thick of things, having played one game in central midfield since November, and if he slips up in the least, Man Utd will probably view it as all the more reason to sell him.
I wonder if Klebs would have "grown" as well, given the same chance Fletcher has been given. I use quotes around "grown" because I am still not impressed with Fletcher's play...not for one of the biggest clubs in the world, and not when his play has come at the expense of the likes of Ronaldo and Kleberson...
Coulda, woulda, shoulda.... it doesn't matter. We do know that Fletch impressed many people in the game against Arsenal, where he played in midfield. Anything else regarding Kleberson is pure speculation at this point. Ronaldo was brought along slowly and we've recently seen how much of an impact he's been having lately. Would he have been better off with playing more games? Maybe, maybe not. We know that Sir Alex has played him more this year than he had planned because of injuries. Fletcher got some time to cut his teeth, and I'm sure he's expected to show his maturity as we go into next season as well. I expect Ronaldo to have a spot on the first team next season, I'm not sure Fletch will. Miller and other buys coming in make it hard to gauge. I'm not expecting Fletch to be as good as Keane or a Van Der Vaart, he's a different player than both obviously. I think he'd be a good player in certain situations and formations, better than Butt or P. Nev.... should we expect better? Sure, for our first team, but he'd be a better than average option off the bench than most players IMO. I'll be first in line (if Fletcher is sold or a huge bust) to criticize Ferguson on this one, I'm just saying it's still too early to judge a young player, especially when he hasn't been playing his natural position.
Mott.. Fletcher has played more than Kleberson, he has had 1 good game, 1 average game which is good for a young player and a game or two that was not bad and in the rest he has been crap... ok... so he is young, but Klebs has been excellent... he would have been a much better fit than Scholes at DM he should have played in those games when Scholes was used more centrally than in the attack - I still feel there is something strange about Klebs not getting the PT he deserves...
I don't disagree. However, there is obviously some problem. Whether it's injuries, troubles at home, etc. - it's all speculation. What bothers me is that some people want to look no further than Fletch being Scottish and Klebs not being Scottish as the only possible answer. My other point about Fletch is that he played alot of minutes to get experience for when he would move to central midfield, his first "big" game there and he plays very well. Now, if you think we would've had that performance from him without the playing time, I'd be skeptical at the very least.
