Obviously the United debt has been a hot topic for a while, especially recently. Seeing the nightmare that is Portsmouth and now the financial and ownership issues at Liverpool, do you think Manchester United is going down the same path? Thankfully the financial issues seem to have not affected performance on the pitch, but many think this is because of Fergie only. I'm curious what everything thinks the future holds over the next five or ten years as this debt continues to mount and Fergie eventually leaves. Will United lose their spot at the top to up and comers like Manchester City or Arsenal (who without question is in better shape financially)?
Hi. I am a fellow newbie just like you. One thing I noticed and learnef about this board is that the regular members do not like to new threads on a topic that has been discussed before. In addition, I think United Forever said, they do not like it when any poster (newbie or a regular poster) post something or a news link that was posted before. I know it is difficult to get use to norms and culture because we do not have any prior history of went on before. You should check out the Financial Predicament thread, which is a very heated but good discussion between two chasm of thoughts and stance. I really learned a lot in that thread, especially the more pro-glazer side.
I apologize. As a new poster I definately do not know what the norms are, so I'll check out that thread and post my questions, if any, there. Thanks!
IT's tough to follow what's going on because of that unfortunately, as soon as something is said it gets swamped. Me gets lost easily if not keeping up often.
