I have just been thinking that richards will not be at city much longer because he is a player on the rise who is going places in football, his potential means he will move soon, unlucky for you guys but you will get a nice transfer fee unless he does a campbell and joins your rivals on a free :)

Zippy, missed ya and caought you lurking in the enemy's liar.... :D

I disagree with this view though as with Sven and new money and City playing really well, i think Richards will be challenged if he stays. Sure, maybe in 5 or so years he may try his hand in another country or so but if the atmosphere keeps up City will be a club that draws talent like Richards.

Some how I doubt he would even go to the rags for free.

Richards stayed last year despite a lot of offers from other teams. He likes City, he likes being here. And while I do believe he may get frustrated if we fail to live up to the potential and expectations of this club he could be a key to the puzzle that helps this club rise from the bottom.

We are on the top of the table now and looking good so far.

I like it when the big clubs with lots of money behind the do well because then the best can represent us well in europe and become a force, teams like bolton/everton is a waste in the top seven because they dont have as much potential as a westham/newcastle/man city/sunderland/aston vill/portsmouth

My ideal to eight to qualify to europe would be

    Manchester utd
    Liverpool
    Arsenal
    Chelsea
    Newcastle
    Westham
    Sunderland
    Machester city

Agree with your point about Bolton, but cant say the same for Everton. They're a big club who have won loads of trophies, and even the European cup.

And West Ham, for being the 'home of football', havent exactly done much, same as for Newcastle and Sunderland.

The teams who are in the UEFA at the moment are there because they deserve to be. Attendance wise, Bolton have to compete with Man United, Man City, Stockport County, Oldham Althetic, Wigan Athletic, Rochdale, Bury, Burnley and Blackburn for attendances, whilst Newcastle and Sunderland are one city teams.

Still hate the inbred ********** though. ;)

    I would say

    Manchester Utd
    Liverpool
    Chelsea
    Newcastle
    Arsenal
    Manchester City
    Porstmouth
    West Ham

I would like Anelka to leave Bolton and go to a REAL championsleague contendng club, bvause he says he wants to go to a club with CL status, but he ends up going to Man city(then they were not contenders) Fenebache, and Bolton.
I heard rumers that Man U are interested in him.
Also does anyone know why he left Arsenal, Madrid and Liverpool anyway or was it just because he didn't score many goals.

    Liverpool
    Man Utd
    Arsenal (barely)
    Everton
    Man City
Tottenham (its only been 3 games!)
    Newcastle

Pompey has a shot to take Newcastle, but otherwise, the rest are SOL.

West Ham is junk, I can't believe people think they have a 'good shot' at Euro spots. Bolton are done with Europe. Boro and Fulham will be the respectable midtable with Sunderland.
