2-2. Manchester City came back from 2 goals and a man down to earn a point. Anelka and Goater scored for City, Thompson and Cole for Blackburn. Sun JiHai played the entire match.

What a game! City has done it with 10 men. Sunny was reasonable solid, expect he gave a little bit more space to Thompson for the first goal. Sunny was named "man of the match" after the game. Way to go, Sun.

What utter crap defending from Rovers. On both goals the entire back line followed the ball to the endline leaving the 18 completely exposed. To add insult to injury, Brad may well have saved Anelka's first goal had one of said defenders not defelcted it away from him.

Brad did well, both goals were not his fault. Rovers' back line suck.

Now it's 23 matches unbeaten for City at Maine Road. This record does of course include division 1 matches.

Keegan singled out Sun for special praise after the game....now he has settled in he is getting better & better,he is using the ball more positively, though against Blackburn, the entire team gave the ball away to often! He seems to love it here, plays the game with a smile on his face, and who else could you shout "Go on my Sun!" to...PERFECT!!
