    Man Utd vs Juventus

I think with the current UCL form, Man Utd will win the home match. Next week in Turin I’m hopping for a draw. Juventus would be looking for a revenge from 1999.

Should be a great match - I'm guessing 2:2 draw, with Man U outplaying them most of the match. The pieces will just fall into place better for Juve.

During the Barca game, they said during the match, if any more playboys get sick for Juve, they will try not to play the match, i read earlier they only traveled with 15 players.

Juventus have said they may now ask for the game to be posponed, especially with Trezeguet out now too.

I really hope it is not though, I want to watch this game.

    Lol, with who? :D

They have no strikers except Zalayeta. Del Piero, Trezeguet, Salas, Di Viao are all out.

    Buffon out, etc etc.

They have 0 chance of winning.
Maybe the game should be posponed after all.

yeah, like hell it should be postponed! - Its not united's bloody problem if the Juve players didn't get thier flu shots! And with the already conjested fixture list, it aint gonna happen, unless juve pull out and concede the game to united- also unlikely.

Tough luck, Juve, but your FU*KED!

I will laugh when the Old Lady tears apart Man U with a lineup even more depleted than what Arsenal had in their 2-0 disassemblage at Old Trafford this weekend.

And if the game isn't postponed, it'd be ironic if a few Man U stars pick up knocks, as a result of the laws of karma. And even if that doesn't happen, expect revenge to be exacted in Turin.

For this game to be played is utterly ridiculous, Juventus only have 13 first team players now. But alas, thats how these things work. Its bull, mind you, but thats how it goes.

    13 players!
Does anyone know the rules on this? At what point would this game be postponed?

They brought in youth players to supplement the squad, but you get the idea.

    if the tables were turned

I bet UEFA would let Man U postpone the match.

    Oh well, Forza Zalayeta.

You never know what he might be able to do get againts the Neville brothers.

How many injuries did Juve have? - from thier starting lineup - it only looked like 7 or 8 absentees.
They had a first choice midfield, and played pretty well. On the other hand united played crap, but still a vital win all the same. John o' Shea did brilliantly when he came on, he gave us a boost i think.
Poor old roy! he didnt play very well, really dissapointing. That hip surgury looks like its taking its toll on him. Lets hope his performances improve before he's left out of the starting line-up alltogether.

Yep. Well, he tried to reopen the whole subject at the weekend by saying that you can never say never, but eveyone else seems to have finally gotten as sick of the whole thing as I am. I doubt he'll ever come back. Shame the whole thing had to end so bitterly.

He looked like a ghost against Arsenal and Juventus. I think he's scared to tackle now.

He'll never be what he was even 6 months ago.

Kept an eye on him in the 2-1 defeat at old trafford and i must say you are spot on with that.
I though for sure that he would get into it with somebody-what with just being back and wanting to make a statement and all.
The only statement he was making was "sub me i'm dire today"

United were dominated by Juve and looked very disappointing.
    Keane will be back though.

I hope your right! I hope hes just taking longer to find his feet again. But i saw something today where roy said that he cant go running around all over the place etc.. like he used to, and that he has to be smarter. Well if roy is gonna ease back and not run as much (tracking etc) hes gonna lose alot, unless he can find a new technique that works for him. I just hope he gets a lot better than he has been recently....
