In a mini-crisis of sorts, one goal in the last two games. Sounds like the last time United visited the Valley back in September 2002. RVN will no doubt be a bit dejected at Holland's loss to the Czechs, though it remains to be seen whether that will push him to succeed this weekend. Still no Scholes, and I wonder if SAF will once again be tempted to use his youngsters against a relatively average Charlton side. Perhaps this would have been a good time to have a Beckham or Veron, but of course its all moot at this point. Lets hope that whatever squad is placed out there this Saturday, they will be able to gel and show the kind of performance we saw against Bolton, or the second half against Newcastle.

Game is in the morning at 10 ET/7 PT.

Howard, Carroll, G Neville, P Neville, Silvestre, Ferdinand, O'Shea, Fortune, Butt, Solskjaer, Ronaldo, Keane, Scholes, Djemba-Djemba, Kleberson, Giggs, van Nistelrooy, Forlan, Fletcher, Richardson.

It looks unlikely that Rio will play tomorrow while O'Shea, Silvestre and Butt are doubtful but may come through.

Might put a tenner on us getting a PK tomorrow as well. (Mike Riley is the ref :D )

I know this is kinda off topic, but now that most computers have enough bandwidth capabilities, I think someone should set up a PPV service to stream the games online via the Internet.

No score in the 35th minute. Giggs with a good shot saved off the line by John Fortune.

A slow start for United, but they are starting to turn it up a notch with some good play.

    HT 0-0

Ronaldo the best player on the pitch. The rest of the team lackluster thus far.

Ole came on for Keano in the 60' as Roy has an ankle injury. Let's hope it's not serious.

71' Howard goes down after a collision in front of goal. He gets up after some time on the ground in pain and resumes playing.

Charlton with the run of play. You would think that United could get more possession being up a man.

Ronaldo has had a great game. The quote from the MU radio announcer: "I wouldn't catch him on a road bike." :D
