In a mini-crisis of sorts, one goal in the last two games. Sounds like the last time United visited the Valley back in September 2002. RVN will no doubt be a bit dejected at Holland's loss to the Czechs, though it remains to be seen whether that will push him to succeed this weekend. Still no Scholes, and I wonder if SAF will once again be tempted to use his youngsters against a relatively average Charlton side. Perhaps this would have been a good time to have a Beckham or Veron, but of course its all moot at this point. Lets hope that whatever squad is placed out there this Saturday, they will be able to gel and show the kind of performance we saw against Bolton, or the second half against Newcastle. Game is in the morning at 10 ET/7 PT.
FSW will show Charlton-Manchester United on delayed telecast; all times ET: Tuesday @ 8pm Thursday @ 3pm
Howard, Carroll, G Neville, P Neville, Silvestre, Ferdinand, O'Shea, Fortune, Butt, Solskjaer, Ronaldo, Keane, Scholes, Djemba-Djemba, Kleberson, Giggs, van Nistelrooy, Forlan, Fletcher, Richardson. It looks unlikely that Rio will play tomorrow while O'Shea, Silvestre and Butt are doubtful but may come through. Might put a tenner on us getting a PK tomorrow as well. (Mike Riley is the ref )
I just hate to watch games i allready know the score to, the game will be on PPV Live if you willing to pay the bucks, i will
I know this is kinda off topic, but now that most computers have enough bandwidth capabilities, I think someone should set up a PPV service to stream the games online via the Internet.
Here are the lineups, by the way: Charlton: Kiely, Kishishev, Perry, Fortune, Powell, Stuart, Parker, Holland, Jensen, Euell, Di Canio. Subs: Royce, Lisbie, Bartlett, Johansson, Sankofa. Man Utd: Howard, Gary Neville, Ferdinand, O'Shea, Phil Neville, Ronaldo, Butt, Keane, Fortune, Van Nistelrooy, Giggs. Subs: Carroll, Djemba-Djemba, Solskjaer, Forlan, Silvestre.
71' Howard goes down after a collision in front of goal. He gets up after some time on the ground in pain and resumes playing.
Ronaldo has had a great game. The quote from the MU radio announcer: "I wouldn't catch him on a road bike."
i didn;t watch the game, so can anyone tell me if djemba or kleberson played? did they come on as subs, how did they do??
