hello guys, I'm a loyal fan of ManU and all this years I've been following EPL and esp. ManU, but lately I am really feeling frustrated with ManU's performance. First and foremost, Fergie should have a serious talk with his defenders. Defenders should not run for fame and hunt for goals. I think the strikers, forwards and midfields can do the job. Defenders should DEFEND thier areas...but not in the case of Man U. Most of the time, the defenders are all down trying to score. In the event of counter attack by the opponents this defenders have to rush up and its too late. 3 wins out of 9 matches??? Well I would say, 95% of ManU's poor performance was due their super defenders. Fergie should should get rid of the poorest and the silliest defender of all time, Mr. Mikael Silvestre, even though he is claimed to be the best fullback with consistent performer.Next is our handsome Irishman. O'shea, most of the time he is running and always helping to score...but..hardly in his own D area....??? If ManU wants to end Arsenal monopoly...Sir Alex should seriously consider revamping his defence force. Well I'm not a proffesional couch or something like that but just an ordinary fan who could not stand watching my favourite team going down.
Welcome to these boards. Someone in the Manchester United Forum may give you a fuller response to your first post here with us.
i'd be inclined to suggest that Man Utd's problems lie a little further up the pitch than the defence...
