where can i watch Manchester United games live and/or tape delay the same day of the game? Is there a dish company that carries the matches or a closed circuit pub in any given city?

You might want to try and list your city in your info. You could try Fox Sports World which carries alot of Man U matches live. YES (Yankees Entertainment) carries all of the games on like a 48 hour delay. FSW will also show some delays later in the day.

I am sure that if you get the right package on a dish, you can get YES, but I don't know for a fact.

I have Direct TV with the full Sports Package, which includes the YES network and all the Fox Sports Networks. I think I pay an extra 10 dollars a month.

You need Fox Sports World and the English Premier League PPV package. The PPV package is about $270 for the full season, but there should be a 1/2 season price by now. Some providers also allow you to purchase one game at a time for about $15/game.
You would only have missed two Manchester United EPL games so far this season if you had Fox Sports World and the PPV package.
The Saturday EPL PPV game is shown tape delayed on most of the Fox Sports Net regional sports networks (three to seven day delay).
The YES Network shows most Manchester United games, but they are tape delayed by several days. They usually show all of the Manchester United games on Thursdays.
