Getting and staying healthy is it. He’s just getting back and had a set back recently after his first return. Makes more sense to ease him back in for 30 minute cameos instead of just throwing him to wolves. If he’s still getting cameos only after a stretch of games then you’d have an argument. Let him work his way back in.
Nkunku, Jackson and Palmer can all operate together in a front 3. Sterling, Noni and Mud competing for time behind them is a solid enough group to close this year out.
I'm wondering if you are aware that he has been on the injury list all season until the last couple of weeks? That's the main reason he hasn't had any game time.
And Palmer being better than what anyone expected. Nkunku is by far a better player, but right now you don't want to throw water on Palmer. It actually gives Nukunku time to gradually come back.
Perhaps time for the ol' Carlo Christmas tree (though it might mess up Pooch's high press) ----------Jackson------------- -----Nkunku----Cole----------- --------3 mids------------- 4 defenders with fbs doing the width
