1-3!!!! We finish the year as leaders!!! Ronaldo 14 goals in 16 games!!! the best begining of la liga since 1996, 7 years ago!!! 'Diario As' said today that Raul/Ronaldo is the best couple of forward in europe with 22 goals in league!!! Great second goal of Ronaldo, his 42 goal in 2003, great year for him!!! Great game of Casillas!!! Raul scored one goal and he is improving, his eight goal in la liga this year!!! Figo scored one goal and he made the pass to Raul in the first goal!!! We have won the last 4 games in liga against Barcelona, Atletico, Depor and Mallorca!!! A perfect last month that it was going to be the worse month of the year with 9 games in only 28 days, well, it has ended with 7 wins and 2 ties!!!! Borja played all the game instead of Beckham that was injured!!! Well, i haven't time to analize the game. In the next days i will write about the game.
My take.... 1) the game was closer than the scoreline. As mentioned by MadridForever, Casilles had a great game(that also meant Mallorca has many scoring chances). If Etoo had some luck, the scoreline would be different. Mallorca's only goal came immediately after a near chance by Raul on the other end. Ronaldo's goal also came immediately after Etoo failed to score. That summed it up.... if you missed, the other team would captalize on your miss. What an exciting game!!!! 2) Ronaldo proved once again that he only needed one to two good play per game and still be the hero. Before his first goal, he was playing poorly. 3) Raul was playing better.... he is now 100%.
