there is no reason for dfb to stop calling him anyways. He's youth NT eligible until 2025.

and he might not even be a CF at pro levels. Just plays there because no one else can be as effective given that others are absent.

but everytime Zirkzee was there, Tillman was in midfield.

lol to think Malik was just seen as a bonus transfer back in 2015 when Bayern poached Timothy from Furth. In the end, Malik ended up as the better talent and has been rated more than his brother for like 3 years now.

Timothy is now back at Furth in 2BL.

Venus Williams was more hyped than Serena. Sometimes the younger sibling w/out as much hype ends up being better, possibly because they have less pressure. Though you normally have to bet on the older one since they've proven something first.

Didn't go with Jamar Beasley as your example while on the Yanks Abroad board?

I didn't remember Jamar Beasley being hyped that much. I thought it was a Jonathan-Johan Gomez situation. I feel like I heard about Jonathan first, even though he's younger. And the same was the case with the Beasleys. The younger Giannis vs. Thanasis Antetokounmpo would be another analog to that dynamic.

Jamar got features in Sports Illustrated and ESPN the magazine at a time when that didn't happen for soccer players. He was WAY more hyped pre-MLS than DMB, Donovan, Convey, and Onyewu, who all came just after. That changed a lot after the U-17 WC where Donovan & Co. started to raise eyebrows, and the hype shifted to them. Until Freddy Adu another five years later.

I guess I didn't remember or wasn't particularly aware of it at the time to have perspective is the answer.

Tillman came on about 15 minutes ago and just scored! Simple one, but they all count!

    yup ended up the winner.

what's great about the goal forget the tap in header. Rewatch that highlight and see Tillman being the one who gets Bayern the ball back while doing his defensive duties than he runs from close to his box to the 1860 box in puts himself in open position to score the winner.

his defensive duty+run+good positioning is what's key here.

The guy that he's stolen the ball from also runs back and Tillman gains 10-15 yards on him.

Funny part if he was more efficient he would have scored like 7-10 goals this season instead of only 5.

Tillman gets the start for Bayern Munich II on the final 3. Liga match day. Bayern Munich II enter the day with a 1 point lead over Eintracht Braunschweig and a 2 point lead over Würzburger Kickers for the title. Bayern Munich II can not be promoted, however. Game starts at 10 eastern.

Tillman went 55 minutes as Bayern Munich II lost 1-0.

However, Eintracht Braunschweig also lost and Würzburger Kickers drew. As a result, Bayern Munich II win the 3. Liga title.

besides the 2023 contract extension it says he'll play in II next season and he's actually involved in Bayern's 2019-2020 CL season too as he's currently training with 1st team as well. I don't think he'll play in that but more like part of extended squad.

Is there any indication if he's interested in representing the US? He's been with Germany, but I thought there was something about him wanting to attend a US camp? Maybe that was my wishful thinking.

Dominated u19s, successful w the u23s, now training with bayern 1st team. Seems to be a real player.
